Directions from Asheville, NC
Your GPS may route you to Hwy 80 North. It’s a mountain road with 86 Switchbacks. Take this route only if you're adventurous and in good weather. Otherwise;
Go north on I-26. 15.2 mi
Take the US-19 N/US-23-A N exit, EXIT 9, toward Burnsville/Spruce Pine. 17 miles
You'll pass through Burnsville and continue East about 5 more miles.
Look for a sign that says "Mt. Mitchell" or "Hwy 80 South" take that exit. 1 mile
Turn right onto NC-80 South and Continue South approximately 10 miles.
You'll see our sign "Clear Creek Guest Ranch" and turn left.
Slightly ahead (.1 miles) you'll see a fork in the road with a sign "Ranch" that points to the right.
Follow the gravel road to the lodge.
From Johnson City, Tennessee
Take I-26 East towards Asheville. 41 miles
Take "Exit 9" Hwy 19 East towards Burnsville. 17 miles
You'll pass through Burnsville and continue East about 5 more miles.
Look for a sign that says "Mt. Mitchell" or "Hwy 80 South" take that exit. 1 mile
Turn right onto NC-80 South and Continue South approximately 10 miles.
You'll see our sign "Clear Creek Guest Ranch" and turn left.
